Our company specialists carried out commissioning works for the remaining marine hydraulic cylinders as part of our cooperation with the "Onega Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Yard" for the supply of 26 cylinders.

These marine hydraulic cylinders control the mechanism for opening and closing the bottom gates of the barge used for unloading soil and operate from a medium-pressure hydraulic power unit.

The cylinders were installed and tested on three self-propelled barges of the NV 600 project for dredging operations. The testing of the hydraulic equipment was carried out using an Automated Control System (ACS) and involved moving the rod in both working and return modes, under load, during several hours of operation of the barge’s hydraulic system. In addition to the main test, the commissioning team also adjusted:

  • The speed and lowering of the hydraulic cylinder's stroke;

  • The opening and closing of the barge's bottom gates;

  • The overflow mechanism;

  • Position sensors for the bottom gates;

  • Various devices that monitor the temperature, oil level, and clogging of the hydraulic station filter;

  • Synchronization of the vessel's automation and hydraulics systems.

Our company designs and manufactures power and custom hydraulic cylinders, including "marine class" cylinders:

  • Made from stainless steel for ships or shore applications, certified by the "Marine Register";

  • With special paint finishes or increased chrome-plating layers;

  • Plunger, piston, and double-piston cylinders;

  • With or without a braking mechanism;

  • Equipped with stroke position sensors;

  • Available with various connection elements options.

Our commitment to quality and innovation in the field of hydraulic systems ensures that each cylinder meets the highest standards of performance and reliability, tailored to the specific needs of marine and industrial applications.
